The gateway to organizational heaven

Basic resources to kickstart your Notion journey

Quality organization is one of the fundamental elements for the execution of my goals. I love detailed, structured research, well organized information, and clear and concise plans.

Yeah, I am one of those organizational nerds. But you know, I love it and I have embraced it. Being one, I am constantly seeking to find a platform that will not only serve my needs, but also add value through the use of the latest technologies and methodologies.

After only a few days with Notion, I was awestruck by the potential. In front of me was a bright future of optimized productivity and organization.

At the time I used Trello, Google Docs, and Bear, but my system was too complex. I felt there was a simpler way to do it. Clearly, I was ready to take the leap of faith. My digital brain was absolutely prepared for the upgrade.

This is a very common story. It isn’t just mine. I’ve heard the same thing from others as well. How they transitioned into Notion and how it helped them optimize their “digital homes.

Many friends, however, are asking me how to get started with Notion. Others are interested in learning advanced tips and tricks.

This article aims to list some of the basic resources that will help you to tap into Notion’s potential.

So let’s first start with:

Notion official guides are an excellent starting point for anyone new to the tool.

Not only will you uncover a ton of introductory tutorials such as Notion traning: the basics, but you will also find some specific purpose tutorials such as Setting up Notion for school or Using Notion for Remote work.

Once you have mastered the basics, dig into their advanced tutorials to learn more about managing databases and templates.

After completing these tutorials and learning from them, your creative juices will start flowing. With your newly acquired knowledge, you can create your first nocode product if you wish.

Into the rabbit hole

The good thing is that we’re just warming up.

The Notion community is extremely creative and active. The number of products and services powered by Notion is growing every day. You can purchase prebuilt templates and instantly upgrade your information system for a couple of bucks.

The NotionFam list of products and services is an excellent place to start.

Whether you are thinking of building a website in Notion, launch and manage your newsletter business, or sprucing up your documents with custom designed illustrations for Notion, you have a wide range of products and services to choose from.

Notion experts courses are a delight for those hungry for knowledge.

Check out Marie Poulin, Business in Notion, Optemization or RadRead.

If you want to become a Notion specialist, these courses will put you on the right path for achieving that goal.

Every Notion user has the potential to create nocode products. Your database of recipes for diabetics or set of templates for home renovations can become a product that earns extra money for you. That’s easy.

Notion recently published exciting news – next year, we can expect Notion API.

This will give developers the ability to build applications powered by Notion. For us, it means even greater creative freedom and power.

Dig into the resources, build your thing, and share it with everyone. Exciting times ahead! Come join the fun!
